​WSB has close beachfront parking - better to get your feet in the sand as quick as possible. 
​We advise each vehicle and guest to please remember that the rules are in place to help everyone have a fun and safe day. 
​The beach in front is an unguarded beach - always keep an eye on your children and group.

Wells St Beach Parking and Concession is family owned and is private propert. We reserve the right to ask you to leave for not following the rules. We try very hard to run a clean family fun business. If you have any concerns please ask at the concession window or an attendant to speak with a manager.
Parking Lot Rules:
* Due to COVID19 we are parking every other car to allow for social distancing
*No In's and Out's
*No Animals
*Park where the attendant directs you- we have specific way we park cars.
*Car must be out of lot BEFORE 8 p.m. or itvwill be towed at owners expense. (later in season we clise earlier, generally 30 min before sunset, car needs to be out peior to closing time)
*No alcohol
*No Glass
* We are open weather pending, please follow us on fb for daily updates
*No profanity
*No hanging out / congregating
Patio Rules: The first few weeks we will not have tables set up orcallow congregating on the patio, the wall or under the tree. This may change as we figure the COVID thing out!

  • No coolers
  • Social distancing is required
  • Masks are required for anyone 2 yrs of age and older . We understand not all people can wear a mask for various reason and we are understanding.
Beach Rules: The beach is the property of Marquette Park and is patrolled by the Gary Beach Patrol and the Lake County Sheriff Dept.

We will exercise reasonable precaution to safeguard parked autos, but will assume NO responsibility or liability for damage or loss of any kind.
Vehicle operator agrees to the safe operations of the vehicle.
Vehicle owner and/or drive agrees to INDEMNIFY and HOLD HARMLESS, Wells St. Beach, Inc., it's owners, employees or agents against any and all claims for property damage or personal injury.
FOR SAFETY REASONS, YOUR VEHICLE MAY BE TOWED IMMEDIATELY AFTER CLOSING ALL COSTS SHALL BE FOR VEHICLE OWNERS ACCOUNT
Management reserves the right to request removal of vehicle and patrons without refund for failure to follow facilities rules/regulations.
